Having just returned from a weekend in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., with Performance Boat Center co-owner Mark Waddington, Brett Manire finished up yesterday with the delivery of a new Wright Performance 360 catamaran at the Osage Beach, Mo., dealership. The Lake of the Ozarks location will be closed from Christmas Day through New Year’s Day, but Manire and company still have work to get done.

“We have several deals to finish up before the end of the year—and there’s plenty of construction going on here,” said Manire. “We’re clearing 12 acres of forest for a 30,000-square-foot storage facility here on property. There’s a lot going on.
“And we’re still soaking in winning another offshore racing world championship,” he added.
Manire and Waddington traveled to Fort Lauderdale last weekend to check on Performance Boat Center’s growing concierge service at F3 Marina. To better serve their clients, they have leased a building adjacent to the state-of-the-art boat, dry-stack storage facility and marina and will be building it out in the next few months.
While they were there, the Performance Boat Center business partners enjoyed the F3 Marina experience firsthand.
“It was pretty incredible,” said Manire. “They were just putting ice in the coolers of the MTI V-42 center console we used to go boating on Saturday when we arrived. The boat was clean, full of fuel and ready to go. After we took it out again Sunday, we brought it back and they cleaned it and had back in its storage rack shortly.
“The Southport Raw Bar is right next to our new building, so our South Florida customers will have everything in one place—a good restaurant, a Performance Boat Center office for our clients and F3 Marina right there for them,” he continued. “It’s an extremely upscale operation.”
